Senior Brand Manager Benelux / Brussels



Main responsibilities
:

  • Understand brand and market dynamics and translate into growth strategies for the brand



  • Lead the development & execution of marketing strategies & plans for the brand to grow in volume & profit, and increase the long-term brand equity



  • Responsible for brand P&L including substantial A&P budgets, managing the set up and day-to-day execution of brand plans, recommending and implementing corrective/adjustment actions up/downside to optimize effectiveness and ensure achievement of goals

  • Nurture effective working relationships with internal (local & international) and external stakeholders

  • Lead, motivate and develop a Jr. Brand Manager

  • Nurture an effective working relationship with Business Unit/SBU supporting service units and lead proper field execution of marketing strategies.

  • Lead, motivate and develop capabilities of the Brand Team (where applicable).

  • Understand and challenge media strategy, managing close relations with media agencies


Required profile:

Knowledge/experience

  • Master degree preferably in economics/marketing

  • Minimum 6 years of successful experience in FMCG brand management ideally in Food

  • Passionate about brands & marketing

  • High energy, drive & creative

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Structured & organized

  • Ability to have a strategic overview

  • Strong communication skills & team player

  • Strong experience in working with and managing creative agencies

  • Result oriented

  • Fluent in English and French OR Dutch
